CREATE, CELEBRATE, ENJOY
Why Collective Action Matters
We know that when we come together – artists, organisations, residents, and community groups – we speak with a stronger voice.
A Shared Cultural Vision for Buxton: Stronger Together
Our collective goal is to create a vibrant cultural life in Buxton, one that reflects our heritage, supports creativity, and is open and accessible to everyone. This vision can only be realised by working together.
When we act collectively, artists, organisations, residents, and community groups, we speak with a stronger voice.
We can make a more powerful case for funding, make better use of shared resources, and reach more people than any one of us could alone.
Together, we want to nurture creative spaces where artists can make, exhibit, and collaborate, and where people of all ages can learn new skills.
At the heart of this vision is a shared desire to feel connected. That’s why we believe in the idea of a coordinated hub, a space or structure that can help link up projects, encourage partnerships, and support collaboration across Buxton’s cultural scene.
